How to Apply

Four Simple Steps

Step 1

Confirm your eligibility. You qualify if you are an employee of a WASA Member company, or the spouse or child of one. The sponsoring company must have a current, paid WASA membership for 2026. The scholarship supports incoming and current students at colleges, vocational schools, technical schools, and trade schools.

Step 2

Gather your materials. Before you start the form, have the following ready:

  1. Your full contact information and the name of the sponsoring WASA Member company
  2. Proof of enrollment or acceptance (acceptance letter, class schedule, or enrollment verification)
  3. Your most recent transcript or grade report
  4. A short personal statement describing your educational and career goals (typically 300–500 words)

Step 3

Complete the application form. Fill out every field on the Scholarship Application Form and submit it online. Incomplete applications cannot be reviewed.

Step 4

Submit before the deadline. Completed applications must be received by June 30, 2026. Recipients are announced in August 2026 and notified directly. Funds are applied toward tuition, books, and educational expenses at the recipient's chosen institution.

Tip: A thoughtful, specific personal statement makes a real difference. Tell the committee who you are, what you’re studying, and where you want to go.

Invest in the Next Generation

Every WASA Scholarship is funded by the generosity of our members and supporters. Your contribution goes directly toward helping students in our industry’s extended family pursue their education — whether that’s a university degree, a technical certification, or training in a skilled trade.

Your support makes a measurable difference:

  • $1,000 fully funds one student’s scholarship award for the year
  • Any amount helps us grow the fund and award more scholarships in future years
  • 100% mission-driven — donations support students connected to the WASA community

Since 2020, WASA has recognized and supported students every year, and demand continues to grow. By donating, you help ensure that a deserving student’s education is a little more within reach — and that the WASA community keeps giving back.
